When upgrading to Db2 12.1 additional activities like OS upgrade or cluster technique change might occur. In addition, test migrations should be possible with no or minimal impact on a productive system. The presentation shows, how Db2 can be migrated to 12.1 including OS upgrade scenarios and cluster technology changes, build on pure Db2 functionality. It describes a near zero downtime solution. With it's repeatability, the solution can easily be used for pre-migration testing.
