Ann Wauters is a former professional basketball player, Olympic athlete and one of Europe's most decorated basketball players of all time. During her twenty-year international career, she won a WNBA Championship, four EuroLeague titles, and was named European Player of the Year five times.After competing at the highest level of elite sport, Ann transitioned into leadership development and executive coaching. Today she is an international keynote speaker, having delivered more than 400 keynotes for organizations around the world on leadership, high-performing teams, trust and resilience.
Her TEAMship framework—built around Trust, Energy, Accountability and Mindset—was shaped through years of leading multicultural teams across Europe, the WNBA and the Olympic movement, and further refined during her time as assistant coach of the Chicago Sky in the WNBA.
Ann currently serves as President of the Athletes' Commission of the Belgian Olympic and Interfederal Committee (BOIC) and founded ASSISTS, a mentoring initiative that connects experienced elite athletes with the next generation.
