Patric Becker is a Senior Director at Rocket Software within the IBM Db2 for z/OS Tools development organization, partnering with enterprise clients to optimize their mainframe strategies and deliver business-critical outcomes. He provides expert guidance on tooling solutions that enhance performance, efficiency, and value for organizations worldwide.
With more than 26 years of experience in Db2 for z/OS, Patric brings a deep technical background and proven leadership. During his career, he spent eight years in IBM Research & Development, collaborating globally on the IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator for z/OS. Before joining IBM, he worked for 11 years as an application developer and later managed development teams at a large mainframe site in Germany.
Patric is a recognized authority in the mainframe community. He has co-authored six IBM Redbooks on Db2 for z/OS and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, user groups, and technical events.
