I am Shilu Mathai, currently working as STSM (Senior Technical Staff Member) in Rocket Software from 2018. I am handling Db2 Connect driver development for Db2 for z/OS, Db2 for LUW and Db2 for i. Prior to that I was working in IBM Software Lab for 10 years. In IBM, I was working as a Senior Software Architect handling Db2 Connect driver development for Db2 for z/OS, Db2 for LUW and Db2 for i.
Earlier i was working in Subex Limited and Integra micro systems as development manager and senior software developer respectively in Telecom domain. I have overall 25 years of software experience.
I am a frequent presenter in iDUG, Share and other customer events in the Db2 for z/OS and Db2 for LUW database domain.
I had presented in the IDUG Australia(Sydney) 2026, IDUG EMEA 2025(Dusseldorf, Germany), IDUG EMEA 2022(Edinburgh, Scotland) of late.
