About me
My mainframe career started in 2001 at an independent software vendor in Germany developing tools for Db2. I began as developer for a tool automating Db2 maintenance. Then moving forward as lead for a point in time recovery tool and later added a tool for homogenous system cloning. In 2011 I moved to a new company as application performance manager, where I did performance testing for internal software and software from ISV’s. Pinpointed performance problems and helped the developers, vendors and internal IT departments to optimize the software and the mainframe.
Since 2022 I have been working for SVA as technical lead for our zProducts and have focused on writing new software for user-friendly visualization of mainframe SMF data.
